Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage primary care appointments with accuracy, clarity, and appropriate urgency
  • Provide gentle, compassionate patient handling during exams and treatments
  • Assist with routine diagnostics, treatments, vaccinations, and preventive care procedures
  • Perform blood draws, run in-house laboratory tests, and accurately maintain medical records
  • Assist with dental cleanings, extractions, dental radiography, and postoperative dental care
  • Support day-to-day clinic flow, including occasional front desk tasks such as scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering phones
  • Work closely with veterinarians and fellow team members to ensure high-quality, consistent patient care

 About You

  • Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a primary care/general practice setting
  • Proficient in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and routine diagnostic techniques
  • Skilled in anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, and basic bandage/splint application
  • Strong communicator with a warm, client-focused approach
  • Detail-oriented, team-minded, and comfortable working in a steady, busy general practice environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $27 – $34/hr
