Description

Issaquah Memory Care is looking for a motivated, dependable Life Enrichment Assistant to bring joy and fun to our senior residents! 

Your job would include playing games with residents (BINGO, word games, bean bag toss etc) as well as chatting with them and spending quality one on one time. You would be facilitating arts and crafts activities, as well as a video led morning exercise routine. Depending on your interests and abilities, you can suggest activities you would like to do with residents (cooking, gardening etc) and those could be added to the schedule on the days you work. 

Your schedule would be Wednesday through Saturday, with the times being slightly negotiable. Start time would be 9am with an end time of either 5pm or 7pm. 

The most important quality for this position is a positive attitude and genuine care for our residents!

Requirements

You would need to be able to do some minimal lifting (setting up folding tables, moving chairs) and you would need a valid drivers license to drive the community bus on occasion. No other certifications are required.
