Position: Host
Location: In person required: 3714 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85018
Shift: Morning, Day, Holidays, Weekends, Saturday Nights (Mandatory)
Starting Salary: $12.15 plus tips
Expected Hours: 15 – 30 per week (Based on business needs)
Supervisory: No direct reports. Reports to Managers and Supervisors

Position Summary:
As the first face guests see, you set the mood for their entire visit. You’ll welcome guests with genuine hospitality, manage the waitlist, coordinate seating, and help keep service flowing seamlessly. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates clearly, and brings positivity to every shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and a smile
- Manage the reservation and waitlist and seating chart with efficiency and accuracy
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus or helpful information
- Communicate wait times clearly and confidently
- Keep the host stand and lobby clean, organized, and inviting
- Answer phones, take to‑go orders, and assist guests as needed
- Refill water glasses and pre‑bus tables to support the service team
- Oversee to‑go orders, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper packaging
- Process to‑go payments quickly and correctly
- Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow
- Monitor dining room pacing and capacity
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism, care, and a solutions‑focused attitude
- Assist with opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards with pride
- Bring the party—whether it’s a chill morning or a packed weekend rush
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous hosting or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems and seating software is helpful
- A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine love for hospitality
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Calm, organized, and efficient under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual, team‑oriented, and eager to help
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Understanding of health and cleanliness standards
- Food Handler’s Certification require
