POSITION: Pharmacist (2 positions)
SALARY: $72.34 to $97.76, per hour DOE
REPORTS TO: Pharmacy Director
LOCATION: Nespelem Health Center, Nespelem, WA
Basic Functions: This is an Exempt position.The Pharmacist provides responsive, high-quality health care services in a non-discriminatory, confidential, compassionate, and professional atmosphere. Pharmacists are expected to perform their duties with professionalism, ethical integrity, and a commitment to high-quality service. This includes developing and maintaining competence, supporting positive working relationships, and providing excellent service to patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Training:
- Requires graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the applicable state. Must maintain throughout employment
- Minimum two years of pharmacist experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
- Requires proficiency in providing drug information and therapy consultations.
- Sensitivity to diverse cultures and traditions, demonstrating empathy and compassion in patient care.
- Requires skill in ambulatory care pharmacy operations, including formulary management and policy development.
- Must be competent in dosage calculations, equipment operation, and use of pharmacy software.
- Must demonstrate professional phone and communication skills.
- Provide effective patient education and counseling.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and professional standards.
- Ability to supervise and train staff effectively.
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
- Requires walking, sitting, and occasional lifting (25–50 lbs).
Working Conditions:
- Work performed primarily indoors in a clinical or pharmacy setting.
- May involve exposure to medications and routine safety considerations.
Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
