Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance efforts across our production facility. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting ability, and a proactive approach to preventing downtime. You’ll play a key role in optimizing equipment performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities


  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

  • Perform advanced preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment (printing presses, dryers, conveyors, etc.)

  • Lead response to critical equipment failures and minimize downtime in a high-volume production setting

  • Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions

  • Support installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment

  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and analyze trends to improve reliability

  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize workflow and efficiency

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, including OSHA compliance

  • Mentor and support junior maintenance staff as needed

Qualifications


  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems troubleshooting

  • Experience with automated production equipment; printing or textile equipment experience is a strong plus

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

  • Proven experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Flexibility to work off-hours, weekends, or on-call as needed

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with PLCs and basic controls (troubleshooting, not necessarily programming)

  • Welding, fabrication, or machining experience

  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience

  • OSHA or safety certifications
