Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall corporate documentation functions to corporate customers for handling of Non-Standard Documentation
• Deliver the best functional alignment, process priorities, key knowledge on banking controls, market and product knowledge, keep abreast with industry developments and alignment to business strategies and priorities
• Establish and ensure adherence to departmental guidelines and compliance of the Bank's policy
• Provide key operational risk capabilities in terms of identification of control and process gaps and mitigation, incidents management and resolution, define Key Performance Indicators to track performance and monitor Key Risks Indicators
• Report all process deviations to supervisor with recommendations to the process gaps, incidents and enhancements with a strong emphasis on controls, efficiency, capacity planning, best practice, process alignment and regulatory targets
• Lead projects on development of new products, automation / enhancement of related systems and enhance customer experience
• Perform and monitor regular tracking on deliverable quality and produce monthly report for senior management review
• Conduct performance appraisal and promotion recommendations, and handle other staff issues
• Provide coaching and training to subordinates
• Handle ad-hoc matters and tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines is preferred
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in loan operations with 5 years at managerial level is preferred
• Sound knowledge on Companies Ordinance and legal requirements on perfection of loan documents
• Sound knowledge on bilateral, structured finance products and syndication documentation

Proficient in MS Office

Prudent and attentive to details

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
