    Three Rivers School in Pembroke, NH is seeking a Health Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. TRS houses grades 5-8 with a total population of approximately 300 students.Are you passionate about empowering young people to make informed, healthy choices? We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Middle School Health Education Teacher to join our team.

    Middle school is a pivotal time of transition. In this role, you won't just be teaching facts; you'll be equipping students with the life skills they need to navigate the complexities of adolescence, from physical changes to social pressures.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Health Educator for grades 5�8, you will develop and deliver age-appropriate lessons across several core domains:

    • Physical Health & Nutrition: Teach the foundations of balanced eating, physical activity, and long-term wellness.
    • Puberty & Development: Provide accurate, supportive instruction on the biological and emotional changes of puberty (tailored specifically for each grade level).
    • Drug & Substance Awareness: Facilitate honest discussions and prevention strategies regarding tobacco, alcohol, vaping, and other substances.
    • Social Problem Solving: Lead units on conflict resolution, communication skills, and navigating peer dynamics.
    • Mental & Emotional Health: Foster an environment where students can learn about self-esteem, stress management, and when to seek help.

    Certification: Valid NH Teaching Certification in Health Education.
