Children’s Specialized ABA is designed to address the comprehensive needs of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). By leveraging the expertise of the Children’s Specialized Hospital Autism Center of Excellence, the program aims to expand access to innovative and compassionate care, empowering children diagnosed with autism to thrive. Children’s Specialized ABA offers home-based, community-based, and center-based ABA therapy.

Join Us as a Care Coordinator

The Care Coordinator role assists families with coordinating around their schedule and case starts. This role bridges the gap between client and employee scheduling/staffing

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Reach out to families once their assessment is completed to confirm availability and discuss the next steps in the process

  • Reach out to RBTs/BTs once they are hired to discuss caseloads and expectations Accurate data entry and communication recorded in EHR and other software   Update client availability and employee availability in Central Reach  

  • Schedule start dates for families, coordinate closely with clinical team, families and employees

  • Coordinates restaff dates with families as needed

  • Schedule and cancel sessions in Central Reach

  • Conduct monthly check-in with families and RBTs. Document conversations and do any follow ups needed.

  • Provide corrective action when needed for RBTs for attendance, unconverted sessions notes, accurate data collection, etc.

  • Exercise discretion to schedule clients appropriately, maximizing their authorization  

  • Audit all parts of EHR for accuracy and completeness  

  • Evaluate staffing needs and communicate with team  

  • Attend team meetings and communicate current needs  

  • Identify scheduling and staffing adjustments necessary, and address accordingly based on client satisfaction feedback received

  • Other duties as assigned

 

What You'll Need


High School diploma or GED

2 to 5 years experience with intake/care coordination in a healthcare setting OR 2 years as an RBT role in ABA

Detail-oriented and organized.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

ABA experience is a plus.

 

Work Location & Hours:  


This is a full-time position in either our new Clifton or Clark, NJ EI Centers. The core hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm..

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $55,000.00 to $63,000.00 per year. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and experience equity.
