KPM, a leading full-service multifamily management company, is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team on a part-time, hybrid basis. This role involves providing legal support and representation related to multifamily property management matters. The successful candidate will handle various litigation cases, work closely with management teams, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position offers flexibility with a combination of remote and on-site work, supporting KPM's commitment to excellence and integrity in all aspects of property management.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee litigation cases pertaining to multifamily property management including evictions, lease enforcement, and other legal disputes.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to property managers and KPM leadership on risk mitigation and compliance issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to leasing, property operations, and litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with outside counsel when necessary to ensure effective handling of complex legal issues.
  • Stay current with laws and regulations affecting multifamily housing and property management.
  • Assist in developing company policies to minimize legal risks.
  • Maintain accurate legal records and documentation.
