A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Provide first-level troubleshooting and rapid response to equipment breakdowns.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, and basic software diagnostics to guide partners in their repairs.
• Support the review of partners’ preventive and corrective maintenance work orders for the following equipment by:
  • preparing clear work requirements prior to interventions, and
  • reviewing completed work orders afterward to ensure compliance with our requirements and to validate whether additional interventions are required or if other issues have been identified.
  • Equipments covered:             
    • 24MC and lineshaft powered roller conveyors
    • Belt conveyors
    • Gaylord tippers
    • Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including telescopic gravity conveyors
• Support root cause analysis activities for recurring failures and complex issues by clearly documenting interventions and proactively following up on feedback from partner technicians who performed on‑site interventions.

Operational Support

• Participate in the development, execution, and continuous improvement of maintenance plans.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze maintenance-related KPIs to ensure optimal efficiency and uptime.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, engineering, and operational standards.

Vendor & Project Support

• Shadow and collaborate with equipment vendors during system installations, upgrades, and interventions.
• Supervise external vendors on-site and escalate issues when required.
• Support the rollout of new equipment and engineering projects by providing maintenance and reliability input.
• Test new equipments as they are received on site as-per suppliers’ instruction.

Knowledge, Documentation & Training

• Document failure modes, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
• Contribute to standardization of maintenance methods and technical documentation.
• Support training of internal teams to strengthen technical ownership and reduce dependency on external vendors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electromechanical maintenance/industrial maintenance, preferably in conveyors, MHE or material handling environments.
• Post-secondary diploma (College) as an Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Technician.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and openness to change.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to interact effectively with operations, engineering, and vendors.
