Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Specialist, ECM reports directly to the Supervisor, ECM. This role is responsible for the delivery and support of the enterprise wide OpenText/Documentum Platform product stack. Additionally, this role requires actively working, and aligning solutions, with both IT and non-IT groups throughout Cheniere.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Support of current Documentum (WebTop, D2) and future Documentum environments will be the primary focus. This includes design, configuration, security management, workflow, development, and other administration tasks enterprise wide.
  • Provide alternatives and new ideas for requested technical solutions regarding content management.
  • Analyze and design functional and non-functional ECM systems software requirements with minimal guidance.
  • Promptly and effectively address and reconcile problems within scope, and timeline.
  • Assist with the training of users on processes and systems.
  • Prepare test plans, lead testing efforts and implement defined solutions.
  • Remain abreast of current technologies and best practices.
  • Monitor the performance and utilization of Documentum environment to ensure uptime and performance metrics meet required targets.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Demonstrated expertise of the OpenText/Documentum technology stack; including WebTop, Content Server, Asset Operations, D2, Brava, SmartView, xPlore, and other OpenText applications required to meet business future needs.
  • Significant working knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory as they pertain to the OpenText/Documentum stack.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing, and supporting large scale end-to-end OpenText/Documentum solutions.

  • Ability to work independently, multitask, reprioritize, and follow up with questions, solutions, and/or suggestions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Technology related field of study. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.  

 

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years' experience administering and developing within Documentum, including at least two (2) years with D2, Brava, Asset Operations (AO), and the Documentum Platform (Content Server, xPlore, etc.). Must have experience in an Enterprise setting with multiple environments and a Change Management Process.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others. 
  • Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.
  • Periodically travel as business requires.
  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.
