Description

Position: Certified Office Nurse (IV & Research Support)

Locations: Denison / McKinney / Plano, TX (travel required as needed)

Schedule: Full‑time or Part‑time (flexible)

8-5 Monday to Friday

or

9-3 Monday to Friday

Premier Pulmonary and Sleep is seeking a Certified Office Nurse to support our busy pulmonary and sleep medicine practice. This role is ideal for a motivated, clinically skilled nurse who is comfortable starting IVs, assisting with clinical research studies, and commuting between multiple office locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage peripheral IV access competently and safely
  • Assist with Phase II and Phase III clinical research studies, including:
  • Patient screening and visits
  • Protocol-driven procedures
  • Accurate documentation and data collection
  • Support physicians and advanced practice providers with office-based clinical care
  • Room patients, obtain vitals, and assist with procedures as needed
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GCP, and study protocols
  • Coordinate care across multiple clinic locations

Qualifications

  • Active nursing license (LVN/LPN or RN preferred)
  • Certification and demonstrated experience with IV placement required
  • Prior experience in clinical research strongly preferred (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel between practice locations as needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary medical office
