Job Description

**Looking for candidates in the more southern regions ie. Charlotte/Atlanta area.**



Position Summary:



The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth within the assigned territory by identifying and acquiring new customers, expanding market share with existing clients, and enhancing brand visibility. The role requires residency within the territory, with remote work when not traveling. Includes performance-based bonuses and other competitive benefits!



 



Primary Functions:




  • Own the customer experience from start to finish in keeping with the company vision: coupling expertise with speed and simplicity

  • Manage existing network of distribution partners

  • Identify and win new opportunities with new and existing customers and partners

  • Increase brand awareness with end users, engineering firms and OEM’s in cooperation with distribution partners

  • Build network of industry contacts and establish consultative relationships

  • Stay current with product offerings, industry developments and professional skills.

  • Monitor competition and industry changes, and recommend changes to Strahman's products, pricing, terms and processes accordingly

  • Tracks and reports key performance indicators, stays abreast of business issues, and proactively anticipates and resolves issues

  • Supports company strategies and goals

  • Champion safety, company culture and ethics

Qualifications:




  • BA/BS degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience

  • Seven or more years’ experience in sales and manufacturing

  • Ability to travel approximately 50% including overnight and by air

  • Experience in the food, beverage, dairy, or biopharma industries required

  • Location in a (particular to region) US state

  • No more then an hour away from a major airport

  • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as:

    • Safely navigating a manufacturing environment

    • Extended periods of sitting; occasional standing, walking, bending and lifting

    • Using computer and office equipment
