Job Description

We are on a journey of continuous growth—now looking for our next star - a passionate Transportation & Logistics Analyst within our Operations capability. This position reports to the Senior Director of Logistics & Operations and will work on-site in Elkhart, IN.

About the position

As a Transportation & Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of domestic and international shipments across ground, air, and ocean. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all trade regulations, driving efficient transportation execution, and serving as a key point of contact across operations, customer service, and external partners.

In addition, this role will support continuous improvement initiatives, process documentation, and training efforts, while leveraging data and reporting through excel and Power BI to identify opportunities to improve cost, service, and overall operational performance.

Your main responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end coordination of domestic and international shipments, ensuring on-time and compliant execution.
  • Generate and review export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and airway bills, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with HTS classification, tariff regulations, country of origin requirements, and applicable trade agreements.
  • Support compliance with DOT, IATA, and other hazardous material shipping regulations as applicable.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for transportation-related issues, resolving freight, routing and documentation challenges proactively.
  • Develop and maintain freight quotes across multiple modes (LTL, TL, air and ocean), balancing cost and service requirements.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely pickup, delivery, and issue resolutions.
  • Manage and track shipments through delibver4y, including international clearance and exception handling.
  • Support and help optimize transportation systems (including ShipExec), with potential to act as a site subject matter expert.
  • Maintain and support HTS code data accuracy and assist in audits or updates related to trade compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cost, improving service levels, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain and improve standard operation procedures (SOP’s)and process documentation for transportation and compliance activities.
  • Support training of team members on transportation processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Utilize Excel and other reporting tools to analyze transportation and compliance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Provide regular reporting on transportation performance, compliance metrics, issues, and key trends to support operational decision-making.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives across distribution customer service, supply chain, and compliance teams.
  • This role is expected to evolve into a key transportation resource supporting systems, compliance, and process optimization across the site.

A suitable background would be a solid experience within transportation and logistics – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred given the cross-border scope of the role and Mexico site responsibilities.
  • Able to work on-site at our Elkhart, IN office.
