What you’ll do:
- Work through campus teams by coaching, equipping, and resourcing them to accomplish connections ministry in line with Lakepointe vision
- Serve Teams: Develop and maintain the central vision and strategy including: Culture, Team Huddles, Structure, Role Descriptions and Opportunities, Recruitment Strategy, Onboarding Processes, & standards for Serve Team Central rooms
- Next Step Class: Regularly assess content (video / handouts / live hosts / etc.), effectiveness and flow of class and action steps for those attending
- Develop and maintain ongoing systems designed to provide support to campuses in areas related to Next Steps, Serve Teams, Host Teams, Guest Strategy, and Baptisms
- Baptisms: Evaluate and improve processes from initial registration to after baptism follow up, provide leadership on baptism process, and take point on processes and communication to campuses about special events such as Baptism Weekends
- Oversee volunteer application, screening & onboarding processes for organization, which includes but is not limited to: volunteer serving policies, SWIM (Serving With Minors) child safety training, background checks, lead volunteer application appeals committee & decision follow-up, train staff in SWiM processes
- Provide vision, strategy, and training materials (including playbooks) for campus Host Teams (including first impressions & first-time guests strategy) & Baptism Teams
- Manage and maintain reporting for Central Connections budget & lead planning for new budget years
- Identify and develop new initiatives and serving opportunities
- Visit weekend and mid-week programming as needed to encourage and equip teams while assessing ministry implementation
- Benchmark with other churches and organizations to learn best practices
Skills & Experience you've had:
- 3-5+ years of church staff employment required
- Next Steps, First Impressions or Guest Service experience preferred
- Church multi-site experience preferred
