Position Summary:

This position will work in the aspects of the Scientia Vascular Quality System that focus on ensuring components coming into and products going out of the facility meet all requirements. They will work closely with Engineers (Quality, Manufacturing, R&D) on understanding and inspecting incoming materials, and will work closely with Production (particularly Supervisors, Quality Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers) to ensure documentation is complete and correct. This position will report to a Technician Manager and is expected to be responsible for performing inspections on incoming materials and performing final release activities for all products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming material inspections in accordance with approved specifications and procedures

  • Assist in development of Inspection Sheets, particularly in tool and method selection or development.

  • Review production documentation, especially Job Records (JRs), to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to product release

  • Review routine sterilization records and associated documentation for final release activities

  • Perform finished goods release activities in accordance with established procedures

  • Identify nonconformances or documentation discrepancies as required

  • Assist in development and improvement of work instructions, procedures, and Test Methods

  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation

Qualifications:

          Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must communicate fluently in English
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs routinely
  • Possess good organization and filing skills 

          Preferences:

  • Capable of working independently
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and provide feedback effectively
  • Experience in medical device quality or manufacturing
