Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Application Security Developer to support the design, development, and security of enterprise applications, with a strong focus on Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM). This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong development skills with a solid understanding of identity, authentication, and cloud security, and who can collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure application solutions with a focus on identity and access management
  • Support authentication, authorization, and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities across enterprise applications
  • Integrate applications with leading identity management platforms
  • Develop and maintain secure APIs and backend services
  • Ensure applications follow security best practices and organizational standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and security-related issues
  • Collaborate with engineering, cloud, and security teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes and controls

Technical Skills

Required skill sets

  • Strong experience in Java-based application development
  • Mandatory experience in the CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) domain
  • Experience working with at least one industry-leading identity platform (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Transmit Security)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Authentication, authorization, and SSO concepts
    • Identity standards such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and federation
  • Experience building and consuming APIs
  • Familiarity with directory services (LDAP)
  • Working knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot to accelerate code development, reduce boilerplate, and improve developer productivity
