Lot Attendant/ Detailing

Responsibilities

Clean and Detail vehicle inventory and customer vehicles to best possible appearance.

  • Perform full detail, waxing, buffing, and polishing.
  • Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Clean purchased vehicles for customer delivery
  • Clean & Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area.

 

Qualifications

  • Vehicle detail experience strongly recommended
  • Ability to detail vehicles to an extremely high standard
  • Efficiency and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

 

Physical Demands

  • Stamina and Endurance: Ability to work on feet for long periods, sometimes in 100°F+ heat, requiring hydration and endurance.
  • Flexibility and Mobility: Constant bending, stretching, twisting, and crouching are required to reach under seats, roof panels, and lower parts of vehicles.
  • Manual and Finger Dexterity: Precise, repetitive movements with hands and arms to use tools like buffers, brushes, and detailing sprayers, often in tight spaces.
  • Strength: Handling, lifting, and maneuvering equipment, as well as applying pressure during polishing or cleaning.
  • Vision: Sharp near vision to spot imperfections, scratches, or dirt, and color distinction for paint correction. 

 

 

 

Environmental Conditions

  • Varied Temperatures: Work often happens in non-climate-controlled, dusty, or noisy environments, sometimes outdoors.
  • Safety Hazards: Exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, and loud noise requires protective gear (gloves, masks, ear protection).
