POSITION OVERVIEW:
The IT Network Administrator supports the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure in a 24/7 operational environment. This role focuses on day-to-day network administration, troubleshooting, and support activities under the direction of senior network and cybersecurity staff. The Network Administrator helps ensure network availability, performance, and security while gaining experience in enterprise and regulated environments.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential function of the IT Network Administrator includes but not limited to:
- Assists with the administration and support of enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Monitors network performance, availability, and connectivity issues and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Performs routine network maintenance tasks, including configuration changes approved by senior staff.
- Troubleshoots and resolves network connectivity and performance issues affecting users, systems, and applications.
- Assists with firewall rule changes, VPN support, and access requests under established procedures.
- Replaces or assists with replacing faulty network hardware components as needed.
- Participates in network monitoring, logging, and alert reviews.
- Assists with disaster recovery, failover, and recovery activities when required.
- Maintains network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Works with systems administrators, cybersecurity staff, vendors, and other IT teams to support operational needs.
- Provides after-hours or on-call support as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Networking, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. 2–4 years of experience supporting enterprise network environments or IT infrastructure. Experience in regulated, high-availability, or 24/7 environments preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, and basic firewall concepts.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Basic understanding of the OSI model and common network protocols.
- Ability to follow change management and security procedures.
- Ability to create and maintain basic network documentation and diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical users.
- Willingness to learn enterprise networking, security practices, and operational standards.
Must be at least 21 and older and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

The environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member may encounter while performing the essential functions of the position.
Primarily indoors and may be exposed to heavy smoke and fluctuations in temperature while in and around the Casino and/or Hotel. May also, from time-to-time be exposed to noise from slot machines, customers, music and public announcement system, as is common in a Casino and/or Hotel environment. Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel operates in a 24/7 environment.
PROPERTY REQUIREMENTS:
In support of LEC&H’s Pride in Property values, this position, like all LEC&H positions, assists with the daily cleaning of public and team member spaces, ensuring all team members properly cleaning (to property standards) and sanitized; examples of daily cleaning protocols include but are not limited to the cleaning of work areas, machines, equipment, using cleaning and sanitizing agents and report of any and all cleanliness issues.
