Due to a recent retirement of a long-term employee, Wurth Baer Supply Company is seeking to hire a full-time Customer Service Representative/Will Call Associate to work onsite at our branch in Columbus, OH.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm ET
Responsibilities:
- As a Customer Service Representative/Will Call Associate, you will handle customer inquiries and concerns with courtesy, respect, professionalism and a high sense of urgency for our growing client base. You will provide the best value through a combination of product availability, service and price to incoming customer calls (65-90 per day). You will help solve and handle issues on orders and back-ordered products. You will continuously pursue process improvements and add customer value by helping customers reduce their costs through upselling and offering substitute products as needed thus finding the best solutions to their needs.
- Handle incoming customer calls (65-90 per day est.) and emails
- Order Processing: Enter and modify on-line orders in the system
- Creating quotes
- Respond to customer requesting pricing and other information about both stock and non-stock merchandise
- Investigate back-ordered merchandise and offer substitutes when available
- Expedite Orders
- Maintain product information files
- Fax information to customers
- Assist with new employee training while taking inbound calls
- Record and resolve order issues
- Participate in phone blitz sales days in alignment with company sales goals.
- Other duties related to sales or customer service as required
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus
- High School Education with a two-year or four-year college degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excel & SAP experience preferred
- Sales or customer service (call center) background strongly preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook
- Detail-Oriented and the ability to multi-task
- Help customers when placing orders, upselling or offering substitute products that meet customer needs.

Hourly Employees Benefits Summary:
