Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Operations
- Provide daily HR support to hourly and salaried employees across departments and shifts.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and confidentiality standards.
- Support payroll coordination, employee transactions, and HRIS updates.
Employee Relations & Leadership Support
- Coach supervisors and managers on attendance, discipline, performance management, investigations, documentation, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct prompt, fair, and thorough employee relations investigations.
- Build trust and credibility through visible floor presence and responsive support.
- Support a culture of accountability, communication, and respect.
Recruiting & Workforce Development
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly, skilled trades, and salaried positions.
- Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and staffing priorities.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and retention initiatives.
- Build external recruiting pipelines with schools, trade programs, and community partners.
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Assist employees with benefits questions, enrollments, and life event changes.
- Support open enrollment activities and employee education.
- Coordinate leave administration including FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and related processes.
Continuous Improvement & Future Leadership Development
- Analyze turnover, attendance, hiring, and retention trends.
- Recommend process improvements and practical HR solutions.
- Participate in special projects involving engagement, training, succession planning, and workforce strategy.
- Gradually assume expanded responsibilities aligned with long-term leadership development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience in recruiting, employee relations, coaching leaders, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to build relationships with hourly employees, supervisors, and leadership teams.
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality.
