Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Weld Kitter - 2nd Shift. 

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

The core hours are Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am.

What you’ll do:

This Weld Kitter is primarily focused on preparing parts for weld so that they are immediately accessible and properly oriented to make the work of weld as easy as possible.  This position will also help plan and coordinate manufacturing schedules to effectively meet customer requirements and company commitments for product/service quality and timeliness.       
    
In this function you will:
•    Utilize DMM, AS 400, Enovia, Bills of Material, and Weld bucket production schedule to kit assigned item materials both bought outside and self-manufactured    
•    Review status of orders and materials to identify future requirements    
•    Review the status of material shortages with fabrication Lead/Supervisor    
•    Process surplus and/or non-conforming material according to procedures    
•    Observe all safety regulations as specified or directed    
•    Maintain a clean, orderly and safe workplace    
•    Work with ME’s and plant personnel to identify/review stock items    
•    Establish part and process intimacy for assigned area and material    
•    As necessary, work with Expeditor, to ensure material is available to meet production requirements    
•    Assist and/or fill gaps in weld area if needed to meet production requirements    
•    Understanding of Kanban and other internal stock control methods    

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
