BCCS is seeking a Counselor / Care Manager for our Drug Diversion program!

What You'll Do at Brandywine Counseling:
- The Drug Diversion Case Manager is primarily responsible for providing clinical services to individuals participants in an Intensive Outpatient Program. The Drug Diversion program provides an array of educational, early intervention, prevention and support services to individuals entering, or involved in a drug court program.
- Participates in individual and group supervision.
- Participate in case presentation at weekly meetings
- Coordinates services outside BCCS
- Educates and counsels clients about plans of care, health promotion and disease prevention. Provides education to the client and their family
- Evaluates and formulates treatment plan goals for clients. Works with the counseling team
- Documents all interaction with client
- Provides transportation to appointments
- Administers testing and evaluation protocols and results
- Advocates for individual and community needs
- Records UDS for assigned caseload and addresses screens with clients
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Drug and alcohol clinical practices
- Criminal justice system
- Drug and alcohol treatment principles, standards and best practices for criminal justice clients
- Mental health and crisis intervention
Requirements
Qualifications for this position are:
- REQUIRED: Associate’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or a Related Field
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or a Related Field
- REQUIRED: 1 Year of Experience in Healthcare/Medical - Substance Abuse/Addiction
- Preferred: CADC / CCDP
Pay:
- Starting at $21/hour
- Commensurate with experience, education, and certification
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 7:30p.m.
- Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
