Guardian Angels Catholic School is seeking a Part-Time Guidance Counselor. 

Guidance Counselor Professional Requirements: To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must be a practicing Roman Catholics in good standing, have a have a M.A. or M.S. degree in Counselor Education and/or other counseling-related field and have a valid state-issued certificate and/or license.

Job Description: The duties and responsibilities of the School Guidance Counselor include:

• Individual counseling sessions to assist and encourage the student�s personal and educational development and the planning of personal and academic goals.
• Compile student information after meetings and one on one sessions with students that you will share with administration.
• Implementation of sessions once a month in each class presenting on topics such as bullying, stress, being a good friend and more. A list of topics will be provided for you.
• Compile relevant data to present at Parent Information Nights as needed
• Serve as a member of the Disciplinary committee when necessary.
• Aid in the peer counseling course as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Principal.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Level II Background Screening.
