Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of HVAC and mechanical systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of residential install, install, plumbing and electrical operations. This role has full P&L responsibility, partnering with Marketing, Accounting and HR, driving sales growth and leading the full team at the branch location.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Manage day-to-day branch operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage branch budgets, monitor expenses, and achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve performance.

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Drive sales initiatives to expand customer base and increase market share.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and develop branch staff, including technicians and office resources.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.

Strategic Planning:

  • Identify growth opportunities and implement plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC industry, preferred , or a combination of 5+ years of experience within the trades industry with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus, services, and industry regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, drive sales, and lead teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
