Position Summary

The Special Access Program Security Officer supports the 25th Attack Wing’s Advanced Programs Office by managing SAP security operations, ensuring compliance with national-level directives, and protecting sensitive information that enables global MQ-9 combat operations.

Essential Functions

  • Manage daily SAP security operations for Wing and subordinate units.
  • Conduct facility clearance surveys, SAPF inspections, and recurring security reviews.
  • Review and validate DD Form 254s, classification guidance, and program protection documentation.
  • Process SAP access requests, including ePAR submissions, PSQs, and nomination packages.
  • Maintain SAP personnel information folders (PIFs), billet rosters, access lists, and security databases.
  • Provide SAP indoctrinations, debriefings, and recurring SETA training.
  • Monitor adverse information reporting and coordinate with AFOSI and MAJCOM.
  • Develop, update, and implement SAP security procedures, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Support Wing Program Managers during inspections, audits, and corrective action planning.
  • Coordinate SAP security requirements with Wing leadership, MAJCOM, and national-level security offices.
