to lead the operations of residential buildings in Seattle. This is a hands-on
leadership role ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and a passion for maintaining
high-quality housing.

You’ll oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, manage a small team
of 1-3 technicians, and play a key role in ensuring our residents feel
safe, respected, and well cared for.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead maintenance operations across residential properties.
  • Supervise and support a team of 1-3 maintenance professionals, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance work (~50% of your time), with a focus on unit turns.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
  • Collaborate with property managers to prioritize repairs and capital improvements.
  • Communicate directly with residents in a respectful, timely, and solution-oriented manner.
  • Occasionally assist nearby properties as part of a collaborative team.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, ideally in multifamily or older buildings.
  • Strong skills in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc.).
  • Experience leading or mentoring maintenance teams or vendors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfort with basic tech tools (e.g., digital work order systems, Excel).
  • A problem-solving mindset and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive Pay: $28-31/hour with consistent full-time hours.
  • Leadership Opportunity: Step into a key role with room to grow.
  • Meaningful Work: Help maintain homes that residents are proud to live in.
  • Supportive Culture: Join a team that values collaboration, respect, and long-term impact.
