POSITION SUMMARY
The Advertising & Sales Lead Generator Manager is responsible for driving customer acquisition, membership growth, and brand awareness for Joe’s Carwash. This role manages all outreach, targeted messaging, local marketing campaigns, and sales-generating activities. The position blends strategic marketing with hands-on field outreach and direct customer interaction.
This person is the “public-facing” growth engine — finding new customers, creating exposure, building partnerships, and generating leads that convert into memberships and repeat business.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong outgoing personality and comfortable speaking with the public
• Experience in sales, marketing, promotions, or customer outreach
• Ability to create basic social content (phone-based videos, photos, reels)
• Strong writing skills for messaging and ad copy
• Comfortable working both in the field and on-site at car wash locations
• Organized, self-motivated, results-driven
• Ability to track KPIs, leads, and campaign impact
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Prior experience in retail, car wash, automotive services, gyms, or membership-based sales
• Experience with social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
• Local marketing or grassroots outreach background
• Comfortable with CRM or lead-tracking spreadsheets/tools
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Lead Generation
• Actively promote wash packages and Unlimited Memberships to the public
• Conduct on-site outreach at partner businesses, community events, and high-traffic areas
• Develop and execute lead acquisition strategies (QR codes, canvassing, cross-promotions)
• Identify local businesses, HOAs, and organizations for group discounts or fleet programs
• Track leads and follow up consistently to convert into paying customers
Advertising & Marketing Execution
• Build, schedule, and manage organic + paid social media promotions
• Execute in-person marketing campaigns (flyers, events, banners, sampling)
• Create compelling messaging for promotions, seasonal campaigns, and membership pushes
• Design and distribute direct-mail, digital ads, and local print materials
• Partner with local influencers, schools, youth leagues, and nonprofits for brand visibility
• Improve Google Reviews and Local SEO through targeted review-generation programs
Community Outreach
• Attend local chamber meetings, networking events, and community activities
• Build relationships with nearby small businesses for co-marketing
• Coordinate charity washes, sponsorships, and donation events
• Represent Joe’s Carwash as the face of the brand
Content & Messaging
• Create short-form video content (with smartphone) showcasing wash benefits and promotions
• Write simple ad copy for social media, flyers, and onsite signage
• Develop talking points and scripts for membership sales and staff use
• Oversee brand consistency in messaging, colors, tone, and customer-facing materials
Analytics & Reporting
• Track leads, conversions, walk-ins, membership signups, and ROI of campaigns
• Report weekly on outreach wins, opportunities, and active campaigns
• Monitor competitor advertising and local marketing trends
• Work with ownership/management to optimize marketing spend and lead flow
