Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the set up of stamping dies, troubleshooting set ups, and setting up stamping equipment. Confirms performance of die by installing die; inspecting operation of die; making adjustments; comparing finished product to specifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Any Vocational Tech Training skills would be helpful
  • Five years related manufacturing experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both associates and managers.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret basic documents. Blue prints, drawings etc.

Job Duties:

  • Set up die sets in presses.
  • Clear miss-feeds for Press Operators.
  • Constant evaluation of processes and/or equipment to increase productivity.
  • Identify, communicate process problems quickly and effectively to minimize down time.
  • Utilize appropriate quality assurance practices and equipment to ensure that all products conform to applicable design specifications.
  • Visual inspection of product to identify process problem areas.
  • Perform job safely, must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Identify and communicate any unsafe equipment or working conditions.
  • Work independently, if required with minimum supervision or as a team member.
  • Adhere to all OSHA requirements when servicing and maintaining machines and equipment.
