Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Develop strong product knowledge of the brand, product features, and pricing.
- Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
- Highlight the company’s buy-sell-trade model to customers and buy used products following store guidelines.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) efficiently and honestly for all transactions, including purchases, returns, and buys.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours), reach overhead, bend down and rotate.
