Analytics Program Specialist (1 vacancy) 


OBI is seeking an Analytics Program Specialist to provide program and project management to ensure milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communications are planned, tracked, and executed on time, while also helping identify and roadmap new Centre for Analytics service and collaboration opportunities.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate intake, engagement, and onboarding for new analytics/data projects (requirements, resourcing, timelines).
  • Manage CfA service project milestones and deliverables, including schedules, dependencies, risks, and status reporting.
  • Manage CfA-funded initiatives (e.g., analytics initiatives), ensuring governance, documentation, and outcomes tracking.
  • Support identification and road mapping of new CfA and Brain-CODE collaboration and service opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts (project charters, work plans, RAID logs, decision records, meeting notes).
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and working sessions; prepare clear updates, summaries, and presentations.
  • Work closely to support the Analytics Partnership Specialist on new service engagement and with technical teams to align scope, data access, privacy/security requirements, and delivery timelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of CfA processes (intake, templates, reporting, tooling, and service catalogue).


Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in health informatics, data science, public health, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating analytics, data, research, or technology projects/programs, including managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Strong project management (planning, tracking, risk/issue management, and delivery).
  • Technical understanding of health data modalities (e.g., clinical, administrative, research).
  • Knowledge of health data analytics methods and common tooling/workflows.
  • Communication and presentation skills (technical and non-technical audiences).
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (technical and non-technical) and translating needs into clear scope, requirements, and plans.
  • Familiarity with health data governance concepts, including privacy, security, and data access processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with common productivity and project tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, work planning tools, and documentation templates).
