Business Development - Part time

 

Location: North Vancouver, BC (Primary); Lower Mainland (Secondary)

Position Type: Part-Time (Approx. 20 hours/week) with transition to Full-Time based on performance

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development candidate to drive growth through consistent engagement with healthcare partners. This field-based role focuses on building relationships with hospitals, clinics, and community care organizations to expand our Home Medication Monitoring Program and pharmacy services.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- Strategic Growth: Execute outreach strategies to achieve revenue targets through in-person meetings and cold outreach.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, and procurement teams.

- Market Intelligence: Research competitor activities and identify new market opportunities or partnerships.

- Patient Acquisition: Generate and convert referrals into active patients, coordinating onboarding with the pharmacy team.

- Compliance: Ensure all activities align with Canadian pharmaceutical regulations and provincial standards.

- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of visits and outcomes using CRM tools; provide weekly performance reports.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

 

- Background in healthcare ( pharmacy, nursing, or related field ) or B2B sales ( pharmaceuticals, medical devices, home care )

- Proven experience in healthcare relationship building (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or home care).

- Strong negotiation, networking, and presentation skills.

- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy sectors and provincial regulations.

- Self-motivated and comfortable with high-volume daily field activity.

 

Compensation & Structure

 

- Base: $22–$35/hour (depending on experience).

- Bonus: $50–$100 per new patient (retained for minimum 7 days).

- Hours: Starting at ~20 hours per week with a clear path to full-time status based on performance.
