Position Scope
- Provides cultural information through demonstrations and lectures, and teaches songs, dances, crafts, games and cultural phrases to guests.
- Learns how to create, maintain and/or do repairs of moderate difficulty on cultural artifacts, buildings, and props using a variety of equipment and materials.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Qualifications
- Good health and have a voice that can endure up to four hours of speaking in any given time frame
- Capable of moving freely among the guests and capable of full range body movement.
- Able to communicate in English.
- Know the basics of playing the ukulele.
- Look Polynesian.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about the culture being represented.
- Able to speak the language of the culture being represented.
