Assistant Business Office Manager

Job Summary:

River Bend Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Business Office Manager to join our team in Seguin, Texas. As a key member of our business office, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of the business office, including daily operations, budgeting, and financial reporting

  • Provide administrative support to the Business Office Manager, including data entry, filing, and special projects

  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospital departments, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and resolution of issues

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred

  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting or related field; experience in a business office or administrative role a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
