MCSO Sr Adm Support Asst-Transcriptionist
Salary Range:
$20.33- $25.41

This is a non-exempt position. Pay rates are based on education, skill,
experience level and internal equity. Internal equity considerations include an
assessment of the applicant’s salary history and qualifications in comparison
to the market rate and requirements for the job.

Position Summary:
Incumbent must have exceptional transcription, grammar, spelling and typing
skills to transcribe investigative interviews for the Office of Professional
Compliance and to prepare documents for the Administrative Review Board. All
information is highly confidential and requires maturity of thought. Incumbent
will also be in contact with the public and employees during high stress
periods and must have good communication and de-escalation skills. Excellent
organizational and data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy are
a must. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or G.E.D., and four years of progressively responsible
clerical experience in area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of
training and experience. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and
departmental policies and procedures are required at this level.
