Job Description

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The role requires balancing multiple priorities while ensuring quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities from initiation through completion.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Quality, and other departments to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all project participants.

Budget and Resource Management

    • Monitor project budgets and control costs to ensure financial targets are met.
    • Allocate resources effectively to meet project milestones.
    • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement related to project needs.

    Quality and Compliance

      • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with applicable regulations.
      • Oversee testing, validation, and implementation activities for new processes or equipment.

      Continuous Improvement

      • Identify lessons learned and implement best practices in future projects.
      • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

      Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.
      • 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
      • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
      • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
