Position Title: Host Department: Food & Beverage



Salary Range: $15.15 Reports to: Food & Beverage Director



Employment Status: Seasonal FLSA Status: Non-Exempt





POSITION SUMMARY



Hosts are the first person to meet our guests. Hosts are required to greet guests in a comfortable friendly manner and orient them to the restaurant. Hosts are responsible for providing quality food service to guests in a friendly, efficient manner during to-go and delivery maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service.Hosts will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards and enhance the service and goals set by Antelope Point Marina.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES




  • Greet guests in a polite, positive manner and create an atmosphere of hospitality;

  • Orient guests to the restaurant and begin their dining experience;

  • Possess a working knowledge of all food, beverage, and specials on offer for our guests;

  • Convey all pertinent guest information to staff and management;

  • Ensure guest satisfaction and assist guests in their dining experience;

  • Check on guests periodically to ensure all needs are met to their satisfaction;

  • Required to deliver to-go orders and process payments;

  • Required to practice proper safety practices while conducting deliveries within Antelope Point Marina and while operating Antelope Point Marina vehicles;

  • Work closely with colleagues to relay pertinent information and function efficiently as a team;

  • Must work efficiently and in a timely manner even during times of increased business;

  • Understand and work efficiently in the layout and processes of the restaurant;

  • Maintain cleanliness and health code standards of the restaurant;

  • Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
