St. Matthew School, located at 795 Havens Corners Road in Gahanna, is seeking a Part-time 7th Grade Religion Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year.  
 
Requirements: 
  • Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
  • Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
  • Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR TEACHERS
 
TITLE: Teacher
 
QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate state certification/license:
  1. as required by the grade levels and subjects taught
  2. Religious Education certification as required by the diocese
 
RESPONSIBLE TO: Principal
 
JOB GOAL: To assist students in mastering the skills and information in the school curriculum while helping them to grow in faith and responsibility.
