Job Description for Mechanical Engineer (0-2 years)
The person will work at Agiliad’s location and participate in various Mechanical Design and other related activities. The role also involves coordinating activities with the offshore Manufacturing vendors, communication with customers, coordination with internal (Embedded & HW) teams, reviewing deliverables and status reporting.
Following activities are expected to be performed by the person performing this role:
- CAD modelling and drafting, and other CAD related projects.
- Concept development and Mechanical Design.
- Drawing reviews and updates from DFM and DFA.
- Ensuring successful integration of mechanical design elements into the overall system.
- Communicating with suppliers and vendors, for procurement and manufacturing of electromechanical enclosure.
Qualifications/ Must have Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tool.
- Proficiency with MS Office and other office productivity tools.
- Good written and verbal communication (clarity and articulation) and presentation skills.
- Experience of working in a cross functional team environment.
Good to have Experience:
- Knowledge of DFA & DFM requirements.
- Basic Knowledge and know how to GD&T system.
- Certifications: CSWA/CSWP (SolidWorks)
