Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting activities related to the construction of trade scope on projects. This role participates in the conceptual development of construction projects and oversees their organization, scheduling, and implementation to ensure successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize, and direct construction project activities
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within company policy and contract specifications
Confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss work procedures, address complaints, and resolve construction-related issues
Maintain liaison with customers and key stakeholders to facilitate project activities
Monitor and control project performance to ensure completion on schedule and within budget
Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures
Represent the company in project and strategy meetings
Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while maintaining strong client relationships
Requisition supplies and materials as needed for project completion
Interpret and explain plans, specifications, and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients
Prepare and present progress, cost, and scheduling reports
Coordinate with superintendents to assign workers to project sites

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial mechanical construction
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Valid driver’s license
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Physical Demands
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
