Job Summary:
Administratively responsible for the burn program/center. Work in conjunction with the Burn Center
Director to organize the program and all systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach throughout
the continuum of burn care.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate services for burn education
• Creation of policies and procedures as they relate to burn care
• Monitor and communicate with the organization on Burn Center Director about patients who have
been refused
• Direct and actively participate in the burn center performance improvement program
• Liason with other healthcare facilities and regional burn centers

Experience:
Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired
Two or more years' experience as registered nurse with experience as a nurse in a burn center, working full time in the role of Burn Program Manager or Two or more years' experience in acute burn care and six months or more managerial experience.
Education:
Minimum Required: BSN or Bachelors Degree required. Must show evidence of educational preparation, within a minimum of 16 hours of burn related continuing education per year.
