Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality assurance activities across manufacturing processes, with authority to stop production and enforce containment actions, including blocking of suspect or non-conforming parts/products.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Quality Plans;
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and automotive standards (IATF 16949, VDA);
- Coordinate and validate process and product releases (PPAP) and capability studies (Cp, Cpk) during launch and serial production. Define and coordinate capability checks for manufacturing and measuring equipment (MSA, calibration, GR&R);
- Implement and enforce quality standards, technical specifications, and best practices, verifying effectiveness in shopfloor application;
- Authorize restart of manufacturing after quality incidents or process disruptions;
- Lead and support internal and external audits (IATF 16949, customer, supplier audits), ensuring closure of findings.
Your Qualifications:
- University degree in the field of: Technical University/ Engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within automotive manufacturing environment;
- Solid hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan and SPC in serial production and project phases;
- Certified internal auditor (IATF 16949) – preferred;
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive problem-solving initiatives independently;
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
