    REQUIREMENTS:    

           -    Must have TESOL Certification

           -     Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements

           -    Bilingual preferred 

          

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

     

    • Knowledge of school organization, goals and objectives, curriculum, teaching techniques, current trends, research, and materials of instruction in field of specialization
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process
    • Ability to infuse technology into curriculum
    • Skilled in tracking student progress toward achieving goals and communicating progress to parents regularly
    • Knowledge of various assessment tools (running records, etc.) and knowledge of Google Meet preferred
    • Experience in differentiating instruction to meet students' needs and encouraging student growth and progress
    • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds who have diverse skills and needs
    • Desire to grow as a part of a professional community by utilizing research-based tools, practices, and approaches to support varied means of instructional practice and delivery, student learning, and students' overall growth and achievement
    • Possesses exemplary interpersonal skills and tools for collaboration with all school faculty, staff, administrators, and families in service to students
    • Other responsibilities, as assigned, based on the needs of the school and its scholars
