Job Description

Seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in DCS – DeltaV. Must have worked in Life Sciences industry and have batch related experience. Should be able to develop detailed design for change functionality described in CAPA and Change Controls and implement the required change through its configuration, testing, validation, and deployment cycle along with required documentation activities. Experience of PLCs and/or SCADA would be added advantage.

 

• Programming of various DeltaV Control Systems, PLCs and HMIs in accordance with process requirements
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, presentation, and computer skills. Works in a team-based environment and exchanges technical information with management, technical support personnel, and equipment vendors.
• Execute IQ, OQ for Control Systems Development and Enhancements
• Develop system validation documentation and ensure system validation compliance.
• Create and manage application-specific knowledge management.
• Design, program, and configure DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA and related software.

• Understand Control System Integration requirements and participate in Requirements workshops. 
• Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop technical documents, including design specification, user manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and implement automation strategies on DeltaV platform.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems as needed.
• Participate in project management and project coordination.
• Monitor and analyze system performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Utilize best practices, standards and procedures related to automation systems.
• Maintain and update knowledge of evolving automation technologies.
