Job Description

SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation quoting and serve as a key point of contact for customers. This role blends operational execution with customer communication, ensuring shipments are priced accurately and handled efficiently from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare accurate and timely transportation quotes (LTL, FTL as applicable)
  • Communicate directly with customers to understand shipping needs and timelines
  • Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring on-time performance
  • Build and maintain relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal teams
  • Negotiate rates and secure capacity with approved transportation partners
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or service issues
  • Maintain accurate records in NetSuite
  • Provide updates, reports, and shipment visibility to customers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain - preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with TMS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
