Position Summary: AdvanSix is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Engineering Co-Op for the Fall 2026 term at our Philadelphia manufacturing facility. This role is part of the Production Engineering team within the Operations department and offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to real-world process improvements in a chemical manufacturing environment.

The co-op will play a key role in developing and implementing a productivity-enhancing mobile system designed to support operator task management, streamline data collection, and improve decision-making for specific operating positions. This project will directly impact operational efficiency and plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement a mobile system to enhance operator productivity, including task management and real-time data capture

· Collaborate with production engineers and plant operators to identify workflow gaps and improvement opportunities

· Support data collection, validation, and analysis to drive operational insights and decision-making

· Assist with process optimization initiatives and troubleshooting efforts across plant systems

· Document system functionality, user requirements, and process improvements

Basic Qualifications:

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering

· Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

· Experience with Microsoft 365 is required

Additional Qualifications:

· Effective communication and teamwork abilities

· Interest in chemical manufacturing, plant operations, and process improvement

· Experience with engineering analysis tools or software is a plus

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00
