General Expectations and Responsibilities
- Inspection of all coating activities and surface preparation.
- Perform appropriate in-process inspections.
- Checking and evaluating coatings in accordance with specific procedures.
- Document inspection activities on appropriate route sheets.
- Update inspection progress in the system.
- Complete Daily Monitoring Reports.
- Interpretation of specifications and standards applicable to contracts.
- Report all non-conformities to the QA/QC Manager and complete NCRs when required.
- Prepare and sign Coating Inspection Reports.
- Detect non-compliant products.
- Interpret project-specific quality standards.
- Strict adherence to company and job specifications.
- Ability to use coating-specific measuring tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications and computer systems.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work autonomously and respect rules of confidentiality.
- All other related tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hours at a time.
- Ability to bend, squat, and kneel for varying lengths of time.
- Ability to fully articulate shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist.
- Must be able to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools.
- Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, pull, or carry up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to work in various conditions (loud, hot, dusty, cold, etc.).
