The Taos Experience Manager serves as steward of a highly personalized guest journey rooted in adventure, culture, and quiet luxury. This role curates and delivers bespoke experiences that express the spirit of Taos through exceptional care, operational precision, and intuitive hospitality.
From first inquiry through final departure, the Taos Experience Manager curates and delivers seamless, customized journeys that may include private guided skiing, First Tracks access, chef-led dining, cultural immersion, wellness programming, backcountry adventures, and unexpected moments of surprise and delight.
This position operates at the intersection of luxury hospitality, logistics, storytelling, and mountain operations. It requires a calm and intuitive presence, exceptional operational discipline, and the ability to bring “hospitality, unforced” to life through every guest interaction.
This role extends beyond coordination to the thoughtful orchestration of experiences that provide guests rare access to place, people, and possibility.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Guest Journey Leadership
- Serve as the primary relationship holder for guests before, during, and after their stay.
- Lead all pre-arrival planning, including preference gathering, itinerary development, transportation arrangements, and guest communications.
- Design, confirm, and manage customized itineraries that reflect guest motivations while aligning with Taos Experience standards.
- Conduct nightly guest check-ins and next-day itinerary reviews through direct communication and WhatsApp updates.
- Oversee departure experiences, final folio presentation, and post-stay follow-up.
Experience Orchestration
- Curate and execute private mountain, culinary, wellness, and cultural experiences aligned with guest motivations.
- Ensure every touchpoint feels individualized, seamless, and discreet.
- Translate guest preferences into experiences that feel personal rather than programmed.
Run-of-Show & Cross-Department Leadership
- Develop and manage the operational run-of-show for each guest stay.
- Lead cross-functional planning meetings prior to arrivals.
- Coordinate execution across Snowsports, Retail, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Transportation, Spa, and Mountain Operations.
- Serve as the central communication hub for real-time itinerary changes and operational updates.
Service Philosophy & Guest Care

- Identify opportunities for refinement across product, service, and amenities.
- Support the ongoing evolution of the Taos Experience through continuous improvement.
- Uphold and advance the standards of the Belvedere Collection.
Additional Responsibilities
- Partner with The Blake leadership to thoughtfully integrate Taos Experience principles into broader guest programming where appropriate.
- When not focused on Taos Experience operations, this position will support The Blake guest experience operation, and/or the resort catering team.
- Support alignment between Taos Experience and resort-wide hospitality standards and offerings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge:
- 3+ years in luxury hospitality, private concierge, experiential travel, or high-touch guest service environments.
- Experience serving UHNW or VIP clientele preferred.
- Proven success managing complex logistics across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong emotional intelligence and exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Experience in alpine, adventure, or remote destination hospitality strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp, Microsoft Office, and guest communication platforms.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to operate comfortably in winter mountain conditions.
Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
- Standing/ Walking (50%) – frequently moving around property in all weather conditions.
- Sitting/ Desk Work (40%) – regular use of a computer and phone to manage itineraries, communicate with guests and staff, and coordinate logistics.
- Lifting/ Carrying (10%) – occasionally required to lift or carry guests’ luggage, small equipment, supplies, or amenities weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Technology Use – proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication platforms (email, text messaging, WhatsApp, etc.).
- Weather Exposure – Role may require regular exposure to cold temperatures, snow, and high alpine conditions. Appropriate winter clothing and gear will be provided or required.
