The On-Site Project Manager is responsible for field-level execution of projects as directed by the Project Manager. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, safely, and in alignment with NCS quality standards and customer expectations. The position plays a key role in driving productivity, efficiency, and a positive team culture while supporting training and development of field personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field execution for high-complexity projects
- Coordinate multiple projects at the field level simultaneously
- Oversee equipment configuration and installation
- Develop and maintain accurate as-built drawings
- Support training, mentoring, and skill development of field team members
- Implement field-level strategies and policies provided by the Project Manager
- Maintain current industry knowledge and required certifications
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies
- Deliver exceptional customer service with clear and consistent communication
- Represent NCS with professionalism and integrity at all times
- Drive company vehicles as required for project needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Key Performance Indicators
- Successful execution of complex projects
- Timely and accurate project commissioning (testing and as-built documentation)
- Site safety compliance and incident prevention
- Effective leadership as a site lead when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- BICSI Level II certification or higher (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Required use of PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, etc.) as needed
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying conditions
