Job Description

Description

Under the general direction of the General Manager, this position ensures the inside components of golf operations are facilitated. This specifically relates to customer check-in, customer booking, prop shop cleanliness, and other responsibilities to maintain a professional Pro Shop.

 

Essential Functions:

(Any one position may not perform all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all the duties that may be performed in positions allocated to this class.)

  • Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Communicates in a clear and professional manner that assists guests in playing the course.
  • Ensure the pro shop is stocked with merchandise in a presentable way.
  • Coordinates with Outside Golf Attendant to maintain a consistent level of cart availability and to ensure guests are following the rules.
  • Ability to explain golf products and services and other information about Point University Golf Club to all guests.
  • Participates in the setup and execution of tournaments and outings.
  • Participates in required employee orientation and safety training.
  • Reports guest complaints promptly to the Business Manager of Point University Golf Club.
  • Other duties are assigned by the supervisor.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs and bend while performing work duties.
  • Must be able to perform tasks outdoors in hot temperatures.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hours will vary based on the facility requirements.
